On-Call Cook

Maranatha is seeking an On-Call Cook to join our Nutrition & Culinary Services Team.

Maranatha is located at 5401 69th Avenue North, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. This community offers assisted living, care center/long term care, long term care with memory care, transitional care/rehab, and senior independent living apartments.

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experiences for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations, is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.00 - $22.64 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
