POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly independent, hands‑on Development Manager to own and drive key fundraising functions across individual giving and grants. This is a senior‑level, execution‑focused role for someone who can step in, take ownership, and deliver results in a lean, fast‑moving environment.

The right candidate will be comfortable: operating with limited structure, building systems where needed, and prioritizing effectively across competing demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Individual Giving & Donor Stewardship
  • Execute donor stewardship strategy across key segments (in partnership with the Executive Director)
  • Drive individual giving revenue through proactive outreach, segmentation, and targeted campaigns
  • Identify and prioritize near‑term revenue opportunities within the existing donor base
  • Partner with communications to support effective donor messaging and engagement
  • Leverage CRM tools (Bloomerang) to support donor segmentation, outreach, and reporting
  • Support execution of key fundraising events as part of a broader revenue strategy, with a focus on maximizing net revenue and donor engagement
Grants Management
  • Manage grants calendar, deadlines, and reporting
  • Own the grants function end‑to‑end, including pipeline tracking, proposal development, and reporting
  • Build and maintain a clear, organized grants pipeline with visibility into deadlines and deliverables
  • Coordinate across teams to gather inputs and ensure accurate, timely submissions
  • Ensure consistent compliance with grant requirements and reporting expectations
Corporate & Community Partnerships
  • Support development of sponsorship proposals and materials
  • Help steward corporate relationships and track deliverables
  • Assist in identifying new partnership opportunities
Prioritization & Ownership
  • Independently prioritize work across multiple responsibilities based on impact
  • Focus time and energy on activities that drive measurable results

    Take full ownership of assigned areas and ensure consistent forward progress
Education &

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of fundraising or development experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning fundraising programs or revenue streams end‑to‑end
  • Proven ability to drive measurable fundraising outcomes (individual giving, grants, or events)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving organization with limited structure
  • Experience with CRM systems (Bloomerang or similar preferred)
  • Must have excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Salary & Benefits: $55,000 - $65,000

DOQ. Competitive benefits package available including
14 daysof accumulated Paid Time Off (PTO) in the first year, 9 company holidays, two floating holidays, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Eligibility for 401(k) retirement plan enrollment after
90 daysof employment with 3% employer contribution available.
