This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of up to $49.00 per hour (based on years of experience). Duties- Major job functions include responsibility for functions, activities and services of all residents and employees on shift.
- Facility rounds.
- Ensuring nursing staff provide treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Ensuring resident comfort and safety.
- Make independent decisions regarding nursing care after assessing resident and collecting input from team leader.
- Adheres to resident's Bill of Rights, care policies and all department policies, federal and state regulations.
- Assesses employees ill or injured while on duty.
- Handles staff call‑ins.
- Assists nursing team leaders as needed.
- Ensures Unpredictable Event Reports are written.
- Initiates internal report/investigations.
- Provides ongoing education to staff and keeps up with own continuing education.
- Responds to all facility emergencies.
- Updates MD's and families as needed.
- Reports daily to DON.
- Follows HIPAA requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MD's/coworkers, etc.
- RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a LTC or hospital setting.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- 8‑hour shifts. 3:00pm - 11:00pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday every other weekend #1
- 8‑hour shifts. 6:00am - 2:00pm Saturday, Sunday Every other weekend #2
