Why M Physicians? The Musculoskeletal Clinics at University of Minnesota M Health Fairview offer a wide range of services for orthopedic surgery, non‑operative sports medicine, and podiatric needs. We treat conditions affecting ankles, feet, hands, shoulders, elbows, and spine, as well as musculoskeletal tumors in children and adults. Our musculoskeletal team—including specialized physicians, nurse care coordinators, athletic trainers, physical and occupational therapists—provides complete assessment and comprehensive treatment plans from intake to surgical interventions.
WhatYou Will Do As a Service Line Supervisor
- Actively support the recruitment, orientation, and engagement of all clinical staff.
- Provide guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, and individual development are in place and hold staff accountable to expectations.
- Work collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day‑to‑day operations of the site(s).
- Anticipate and respond to physician/provider staffing needs and ensure support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access, and patient demand.
- Collaborate with leadership to help collect data through reporting mechanisms to analyze, forecast, plan, and direct clinic operations.
- Promote, support, and participate in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation.
- Associate’s (ADN) or Bachelor’s (BSN) Degree in Nursing
- Current Minnesota RN License
- 1‑2 years of demonstrated leadership (lead) experience along with clinical rooming experience
- BLS Certification
