This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of up to $49.00 per hour (based on years of experience). Duties- Major job functions include responsibility for functions, activities and services of all residents and employees on shift.
- Conduct facility rounds and ensure nursing staff provide treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Ensure resident comfort and safety and make independent decisions regarding nursing care after assessing residents.
- Adhere to residents’ Bill of Rights, care policies and all department policies, federal and state regulations.
- Assess employees who are ill or injured while on duty.
- Handle staff call-ins and assist nursing team leaders as needed.
- Ensure Unpredictable Event Reports are written and initiate internal investigations.
- Provide ongoing education to staff and keep up with own continuing education.
- Respond to all facility emergencies and update MDs and families as needed.
- Report daily to the DON and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MDs/coworkers.
This position requires RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing, current CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 years experience in a LTC or hospital setting. Must possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
Work Schedule8‑hour shifts. 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday every other weekend #1
8‑hour shifts. 6:00 am – 2:00 pm Saturday, Sunday every other weekend #2
