Certified Nurse Midwife - Casual

As a casual Certified Nurse Midwife with Allina, you will step into a dynamic hospital-based environment, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in labor and delivery settings. Enjoy a collaborative environment working with OB Hospitalists, nurses, and support staff at our Abbott and United Mother Baby Centers.

• CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services
• Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups
• We attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics.
• "Natural birth experience" highlighting nontraditional care in the hospital.
• Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute.

• Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required
• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 Days
• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required

Medium Work*:
Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Flat Rate: $72.00 per hour This position is paid on a standard non-negotiable hourly rate. Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
