North Ridge Health and Rehab in New Hope, MN is looking to hire both full‑time and part‑time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team. Major job functions include performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met. Responsibilities include monitoring resident needs, condition and care; administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; receiving medications from the pharmacy; admitting and discharging residents; overseeing TMA/NAR/RCA staff; ensuring narcotic policy and procedures are followed; reporting changes of condition to RN/Supervisor and physician as delegated; monitoring for medication side effects and reporting PRN;
ensuring resident care plans are followed; following and upholding the Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies; maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; and providing excellent customer service and communication to all residents, families, visitors, MDs, and coworkers.
- LPN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required
- Trustworthiness, respectfulness, dependability, professionalism, and teamwork
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with others
These full‑time and part‑time positions work 8‑hour shifts: 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, or 10:00 pm–6:00 am. We are actively hiring for day shifts, which require working every other weekend.
