Job Overview
TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care to patients with potentially life‑threatening heart conditions.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
- Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
- Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital‑wide.
- Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home.
- 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Can stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; able to lift up to 20 pounds comfortably and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced, urgent and critical care environment.
12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
