The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) provides critical care to severely ill patients, including assessing, monitoring, administering advanced treatments, and operating life‑support equipment. Responsibilities include documenting patient data, performing hemodynamic monitoring, collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and families, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications- At least one year of CVICU experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS
- Critical thinking
- Strong communication
- Physical ability to handle equipment and patient needs
- Proficiency in clinical procedures
