RN In-Home Assessments in Minneapolis, MN

We are a well-established home care agency, proudly serving clients since 2007. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to perform non-medical, in-home assessments for elderly clients in and around the Minneapolis area (within a 2-3 hour drive).

The assessment consists of talking to the client in person at their home, asking questions about their non‑medical care needs (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, light house cleaning) and filling out a number of health‑care assessment documents.

Assessments take 30–60 minutes. Drive time to and from the client’s home, as well as time spent conducting the assessment, is compensated at $60 per hour. The schedule is flexible; shifts can be any time from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Sunday. Weekend‑only work is acceptable. This is a great part‑time opportunity for extra income alongside a regular job.

Active and valid RN Minnesota license is REQUIRED

Part of this role involves working with the Department of Veterans Affairs. When an assessment is requested, it must be completed within 3–5 calendar days of notification, as the assessment determines the number of care hours a veteran will receive each week.

Before starting, a TB (tuberculosis) skin test is required if not recently obtained. The test can be done at a local County Health Department or at a CVS Minute Clinic. The cost of the test will be reimbursed with your first paycheck upon presentation of the receipt.
