Fairview is seeking a Casual Certified RN Pediatric Diabetes Coordinator to join our team at the M Health Fairview Pediatric Specialty Clinic - Discovery. This hybrid position offers flexibility with a casual schedule, primarily Monday through Friday, and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pediatric patients and their families. The Pediatric Diabetes Coordinator collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive diabetes education, care coordination, and ongoing support for children and adolescents managing diabetes.
This role is ideal for a compassionate, patient-centered RN who is passionate about pediatric specialty care and diabetes management.
Coordinates the care of pediatric diabetes patients from the initial contact throughout the entire period the patient is followed at the University of Minnesota, Fairview Pediatric Diabetes clinic (usually until adulthood). Coordinates diabetes care for pediatric and adult patients with cystic fibrosis related diabetes.
Required Qualifications
* B.S./B.A. in Nursing
* less than 1 year Six months of either pediatric or diabetes experience
* Diabetic Educator CDE completion of required 1000 patient hours
* Registered Nurse
Preferred Qualifications
* less than 1 year Six months of both pediatric and diabetes experience
* Pediatric experience optimal.

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
