Oncology Nurse, RN Nurse
The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Responsibilities- Direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department
- Retrieve, communicate, and present information in written, auditory, or visual formats
- Provide patient education
- Conduct physical assessments
- Offer nutrition counseling
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse license upon hire
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- ~1 year oncology experience
- $3,000 Sign‑on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment
