Job Description & Requirements
Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) for locum tenens support.
Schedule and Location- 10‑hour shifts (7 am–5 pm), May to July, with the possibility of full‑time work.
- Preferably in Minneapolis, MN.
Primarily function as a trauma hospitalist rounder.
Required Procedures- Non‑invasive ventilator management
- Ventilation management
- Chest tube insertion
- Central line placement
- Arterial line placement
- Suturing of minor lacerations
- Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days.
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC.
- Board certified.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Licensed in Minnesota.
Competitive pay range: $106.70–$115.50 per hour. AMN Healthcare arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for contractor providers and provides a dedicated team to handle travel, lodging, rentals, and transport needs.
