Ebenezer is hiring a Registered Nurse/RN who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health needs of the adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Come join the Jones-Harrison Skilled Nursing community in Minneapolis, MN, near beautiful Cedar Lake. Supported by Nurse Leader DON and CNAs and multidisciplinary departments.

Nursing schedule includes:

• Casual hours. Minimum of 3 shifts per month
• Flexible schedule
• Day shift/Evening Shift/Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required:

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers

Compensation Disclaimer

This position provides one flat hourly rate, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with the market. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer is what will be honored.
