Clinical Support Associate - Infant Critical Care Unit

Department Overview

The Minneapolis Infant Care Center is a 41‑bed infant critical care unit for complex neonatal step‑down patients and infant medical‑surgical patients under 1 year of age. The unit supports families in care and decision‑making and works closely with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to infants with life‑changing diagnoses.

Provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintains equipment and supplies per unit standards.

• Completed a nursing assistant course or comparable experience, or completed a nursing or health‑care related clinical practicum course.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Basic computer operation skills.

Position requires the ability to perform tasks and handle duties associated with neonatal critical care, including physical assessment, monitoring, and equipment management.
