School Registered Nurse

This full-time, contract position runs from mid-August to late May, offering an excellent opportunity for qualified Licensed School Nurses (LSN) to serve as key healthcare professionals within a thriving district near Minneapolis.

In this role, you’ll work on-site across five schools, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to students, staff, and families. Your expertise in school nursing will help create safe, healthy learning environments and facilitate student success.

• Active RN license
• Current Public Health Nurse license
• Valid School Nurse license issued by the Board of Teaching
• Certification in both CPR and BLS
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care, especially in itinerant and multi-site roles, is highly desirable
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Commitment to working onsite at multiple designated locations; remote work is not an option
• Dedication to fostering student health and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

• Oversee and coordinate health services across five schools within the district
• Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and manage acute and chronic health issues
• Act as a resource for health education, prevention, and promotion initiatives
• Liaise with parents, staff, and outside healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain meticulous health records and ensure compliance with all district and state requirements
