As the Wellness Director, you will partner with the Executive Director to oversee the clinical operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise the care and medication management team
- Manage medication administration through our EMR system
- Serve as a clinical liaison for residents, families, and providers
- Conduct resident assessments and develop service plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control and healthcare regulations
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare partners
- Train and mentor caregivers on medications, ADLs, and care practices
- Manage staffing schedules and help control overtime
- Maintain survey readiness and regulatory compliance
- Oversee healthcare supplies and department budget
- Ensure accurate resident documentation and charting
This role is key to maintaining the highest quality of care and resident experience in our community.
QualificationsRequired:
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing
- Experience training staff on medication administration, ADLs, and care practices
- Knowledge of EMR systems (Point Click Care preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with behavioral care and memory support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Passion for serving seniors
