Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pediatrics PACU
- Monitor and assess patients' recovery from anesthesia and surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition
Requirements of the RN – Pediatrics PACU
- Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
- CPR and PALS certification required
- Previous experience in pediatric care and PACU is preferred
