What You'll Do:
  • Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care to diverse patient populations
  • Support blood transfusions, hematology procedures, and symptom management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient interactions accurately using EPIC EMR
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effect management
  • Assist in managing patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions
What You Need:
  • MN licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • At least 2 years of inpatient hematology/oncology experience
  • Comfort with benign and malignant hematology cases
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:

This position is at a reputable hospital with 686 beds in Minneapolis. The hematology/oncology inpatient unit focuses on comprehensive care for hematology patients, including support for a developing bone marrow transplant program. You'll be supported by dedicated APP staff and work within a collaborative environment committed to excellence. The assignment will encompass full-time inpatient coverage, working Monday through Friday, with flexible support during daytime hours.
