• Provide high‑quality ED pediatric nursing care to stabilize and treat patients.
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and prioritization of pediatric cases in ED.

• Document patient encounters accurately in EHR and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and pediatric‑specific equipment readiness.
• Escort and support pediatric patients and families, providing clear explanations.
• Demonstrate professional development by pursuing certifications and expanding pediatric ER skills.
• Support on‑site shift coverage, including per diem scheduling and adaptability to patient load.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical guideline updates.
• Meet performance targets and contribute to pipeline‑based territory planning as applicable.

• Active RN license with pediatric ER/ED experience preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or within 6 months.
• Prioritize and triage pediatric cases using standardized protocols.
• Ability to administer meds and monitor for adverse reactions in children.
• Proficient EHR documentation with attention to data integrity.
• Strong infection control and safety protocol adherence.
• Excellent family communication; provide age‑appropriate explanations.
• Ability to work per diem, on‑site, with flexible shift coverage.
• Collaborative teamwork with physicians and support staff.
• Pursue ongoing pediatric ER skill development and certifications.
