Position Summary
Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for clients while also collaborating with psychiatry and therapy teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care:
- Responsible for the successful delivery of production, quality, and client experience goals for a team of psychiatric service providers.
- Provide direct psychiatric care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Maintain a part-time caseload with a focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and care navigators to ensure integrated care.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and health promotion strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Minnesota.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. - Preferred: experience in managing care in SPMI, trauma, neurodivergence and/or women's health patient populations.
- Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices and psychopharmacology.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort using healthcare technologies.
