American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric Oncology position requiring MN RN licensure and 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology experience.

• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology patient population
• No on-call requirement

• Active MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS certification
• PEARS or PALS certification required
• Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course completion through APHON or equivalent within the past five years
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients

• Assess pediatric patients before, during, and after chemotherapy/infusion treatments
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely
• Monitor for side effects and adverse reactions, intervening promptly
• Manage central lines (ports, PICCs) and maintain sterile technique
• Provide pain, symptom, and supportive care for issues such as nausea and fatigue
• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and home care
• Offer emotional support to pediatric patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams
