Position Details
Hybrid - Rounding and OR work 1.0 position / 40 hours per week 10-hour days Inpatient and outpatient position Includes weekend rotation, approximately 1 weekend per month OR call expectations EMR:

Principle Responsibilities:
Completes comprehensive patient assessments. Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness. Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician. Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment. Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care.

Job Requirements:
Master’s degree completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required. At least one year of experience post Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training preferred. Cardiology experience preferred. Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
-National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) - American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire.
