Assistant Quality Manager

Responsible for the inspection of products to assure that they meet specifications.

• An immediate opportunity for an Inspector/Auditor in our Quality Assurance Department.
• The ideal candidate will have an understanding of injection molding.
• Must have knowledge of quality assurance methods, processes and procedures.
• Must have the ability to solve problems with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have an aptitude for basic math and the ability to operate all standard measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Feeler Gage, Height Stand).
• Knowledge of blueprint reading is preferred. Must have ability to recognize and identify quality issues both visually and dimensionally.

• Make regular inspection rounds to required work areas.
• Verify that parts meet quality specifications both visually and dimensionally in accordance with specifications
• and/or work instructions.
• Communicate to Quality Supervisor, Production Supervisor and others to inform them of quality issues in a timely
• manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all quality issues that occur on assigned shift.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the Quality Assurance Department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Machines, tools, equipment and electrical devices used to accomplish the job:
• Standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gages, gage pins, dial indicators, optical comparator, vision equipment, CMM, personal computer, two-way radio
