PKOH), specializes in supplier selection and management, planning, implementing, and managing the physical flow of product for world-class international manufacturing companies, and servicing customers in the various markets.
We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The Quality Assurance Engineer assists the Quality Assurance Manager and performs technical quality assurance activities. They strive to support all customers, both internal and external to the company, in their continuous quest to improve quality.
Responsibilities- Assist the Quality Assurance Team in processing and resolving customer concerns, as required.
- Provide the organization with technical support and act as a mentor to the Quality Technicians.
- Understand and apply appropriate quality assurance and improvement processes.
- Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge to improve personal effectiveness and provide training and guidance to less experienced/skilled personnel.
- Recognize and evaluate the impact on others when making any decision.
- Active participation in new product launches representing Quality as part of the APQP process, as required.
- Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and employees of Supply Technologies, as required.
- Provide visible, active support for the ISO
9001, and the ISO 14001 Quality System, as applicable. - Maintain a safe and unobstructed work area, follow all safety guidelines, and utilize appropriate safety equipment and practices.
- Practice positive customer relations and constructive problem-solving.
- 5+ years’ experience in APQP.
- 5+ years’ experience in Statistical analysis.
- 5+ years’ experience utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
- 5+ years’ experience utilizing ISO 9001.
- 5+ years’ experience in PPAP.
- 5+ years’ experience in the use of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to work under remote or offsite supervision.
- Ability to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- ISO 14001 and TS‑16949 exposure.
- Gage Calibration and Gage R&R software experience.
- Experience with Optical Comparator, Hardness Tester, Thread and Plug Gages.
