Quality Control Manager

The Role

This role is responsible for driving quality performance through strong leadership, ensuring compliance with API standards, and delivering continuous improvement across QC processes.

You will lead and develop QC teams, manage functional KPIs, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve product quality and operational efficiency. This is a leadership-focused role with accountability for the effectiveness and performance of the QC function, and hands-on inspection.

• Lead and manage the QC function, including supervisors, engineers, and inspectors
• Drive functional KPIs including NCR closure, rejection reduction, and audit performance
• Own and implement RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with API Q1 and applicable industry standards
• Develop and standardize QC processes, work instructions, and inspection strategies
• Oversee inspection planning and execution across all stages
• Manage third-party inspections and customer quality requirements
• Ensure calibration, traceability, and compliance of all inspection and measurement systems
• Partner with operations and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes

• Minimum 7+ years in quality control roles
• At least 5 years of people management experience leading QC teams
• Experience working in an API-regulated environment
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and machining processes
• Proven track record in RCA, CAPA, and process improvement
• Experience managing QC KPIs, audits, and quality systemsi>
• Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
