About this role:

This position is for a Lead Quality Assurance Technician who works under moderate supervision in a collaborative team environment. Conducts complex quality measurement, testing and inspection equipment calibration. Leads lower‑level staff in review and analysis of corrective actions and other quality processes. Oversees and maintains production and engineering instrument calibration system, tracking methods, and testing plans to assure quality and reliability of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Calibrations and Certifications
  • Facilitate and manage Calibration program
  • Track and Run Calibration reports
  • Record and Analyze Data
  • Create & Run Reports for Quality Metrics
  • Work on Non‑conforming Product:
    Disposition, Sort, Track, & Close
  • Help to implement ISO Process Audit program
  • Help with backfill for RMA & Receiving Inspection, if needed
  • Assist in Process Improvement (Kaizens)
  • Help to update & create Work Instructions, Quality Alerts
  • Interface with ERP System (Experience with JD Edwards is a plus)
  • Help with or hold regular Material Review Board Meetings
Required Qualifications
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of related and successful work experience in Inspection or as a Quality Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic GD&T Experience (ability to read prints/drawings, at minimum)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (plus)
  • ISO 9001 experience or similar
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (#1 Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in communication, especially by e‑mail
  • Experience working on Corrective Actions (CAPA)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize
  • CMM and Vision System experience is a plus
  • Experience with a Manufacturing Enterprise Systems (MES) is a plus
