Laboratory Associate

Stability Panel Technologist

Seeking a Stability Panel Technologist to support sensory testing, shelf-life evaluation, and stability panel operations in a fast-paced lab environment. This role partners closely with Stability Scientists and laboratory teams to execute panel sessions, manage product evaluations, and support data-driven shelf-life decisions across multiple product categories. The position requires strong technical execution, organization, and collaboration skills, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute stability taste panel sessions including sample preparation, protocols, ballots, serving plans, and timing
• Conduct sensory evaluation, product tasting, and shelf-life assessments for food and ingredient samples
• Maintain compliance with GMPs and defined sensory testing procedures
• Support calibration testing with panelists and Stability Scientists
• Create timely reports, documentation, and panel data summaries
• Coordinate sample receiving, storage conditions, and project tracking
• Partner with laboratory teams on customer calls, LIMS setup, invoicing, and project execution
• Support cross-training initiatives and special projects as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality and testing accuracy

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or High School Diploma with 3–5 years of related experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Share Point
• Experience working in a lab or food testing environment
• Knowledge of food shelf-life testing, sensory evaluation, and panel facilitation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead panel sessions with 6–8 participants
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
