Job DetailsIQ Resource Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Elk River, MN area! Pay: $23.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am
- Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm
This is a Direct Hire! We are currently adding Quality Inspectors across 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts. This is a great fit for someone who has a background in manufacturing inspection, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections at multiple stages including incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) prior to production runs
- Confirm parts and materials meet customer specifications and order requirements
- Operate various inspection equipment including CMM, OGP systems, and other gauges and fixtures
- Review and understand blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications
- Document and input inspection data into the MES system
- Verify all required paperwork and certifications are complete before products are released for shipment
- Assist with upkeep and calibration of inspection tools and equipment
- Report any quality concerns or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Prior experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is required
- Experience in precision machining or mechanical inspection is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with GD&T
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified standards
- CMM experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial
- Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effective
