  • Payrate: $40 - 43/hour W2
  • Duration: 11 months contract (possible extension based on performance and budget).
  • Shift: Monday – Friday; 8am - 5pm.
  • The EHS Specialist supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to help ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Working under the direction of the Plymouth Site EHS Rep., this role assists with safety training, inspections, incident investigations, regulatory compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required skill

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred field of study in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience, internship, or co-op experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with workplace inspections and corrective actions.
  • Participate in incident investigations and tracking of corrective actions.
  • Maintain EHS records, training documentation, SOPs, and forms.
  • Support employee EHS training and compliance activities.
  • Assist with SDS management and chemical inventories.
  • Collect and report EHS metrics and data.
  • Support audits, safety committees, and improvement projects.
