Research Assistant/Associate, Clinical Research
Position Summary
The Research Assistant provides administrative support services for clinical research principal investigators and other members of the research team. Primary responsibilities include screening potential study patients, collecting consent forms, and enrolling patients for the assigned research project. Throughout the clinical trials, the Research Assistant collects and enters data from research participants, contacts families to follow up on outstanding items, and develops and/or maintains study documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Screen potential study patients and collect consent forms.
- Enroll patients for assigned research projects.
- Collect and enter data from research participants in an accurate and timely manner.
- Contact families to follow up on outstanding items.
- Develop and maintain study documentation.
- Serve as primary contact for all families within the communities served, creating and maintaining effective relationships with patients, parents, and legal guardians.
- Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge/experience (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), including database and mainframe software and research measurement tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data entry for large, detailed projects in an analytical setting.
- Ability to participate in research subject identification, recruitment, and enrollment under supervision.
- Active problem solving, flexibility, and self‑motivation.

Compensation & BenefitsAnnual salaries are based on full‑time employment (40 standard hours per week) and are competitive within the market. Eligible benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Night, weekend, or on‑call work may qualify for shift differentials or premium pay.
