Wait Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and clearing tables in the dining area.
• Serving water to guests and refilling as needed.
• Delivering food to guests.
• Carrying dishes and tableware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scraping dishes, sorting silverware, and stacking dishes in the dishwasher area.
• Cleaning and polishing counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment in food service areas.
• Cleaning up spills, broken dishes, and removing trash and empty bottles.
• Maintaining cleanliness and supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Interacting with guests and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction and striving to exceed expectations.
• Reporting to work in a neat, clean uniform with good personal hygiene.
• Working as part of a team to ensure effective service and atmosphere.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of proper table clearing etiquette is a plus.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to organize, multi-task, and work efficiently.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is an hourly position with variable hours based on business needs, operating seven days a week from as early as 8:00 AM to as late as 2:00 AM.

Compensation: $15.97 per hour
