What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Plant Receiving and Shop Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of incoming plant deliveries, maintaining the health and appearance of plants in the shop, and managing inventory and shop organization. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.

Your

Role
  • Plant Receiving: Unload delivery trucks, unwrap and inspect plants, organize deliveries, and complete delivery documentation.
  • Plant Care Prodigy: Water, prune, and pamper a variety of interior and exterior tropical plants.
  • Nature Nurturer: Ensure our plants are happy, healthy, and thriving.
  • Shop Maintenance: Clean, organize, and maintain the shop, breakroom, and office areas.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventories of shop items and notify office staff of low stock levels to ensure timely reordering.
  • Seasonal Project Setup: Assist in setting up work areas for seasonal projects by gathering supplies and arranging workstations.
  • Technician Support: Provide support to technicians by answering questions, assisting with plant availability, and ensuring they have all necessary supplies.
  • Additional duties: May be assigned as needed to meet the business’s needs.
What You Bring

  • Basic knowledge of plant care (or a willingness to learn).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • A friendly and positive attitude.
