Lunds & Byerlys Delicatessen Culinary Professionals is a full time training program designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and hands on experience needed to build a successful career in our Deli department. Lunds & Byerlys Deli Departments deliver local staples and favorites while also being the leader in trend forward, innovative food options. This program is focused on developing exceptional frontline Culinary Professionals who uphold our standards of quality, service, and craftsmanship while opening the door to meaningful, long-term career opportunities in our delis.

No formal experience required!

• Spend time in our classroom training facility learning a variety of skills and knowledge from experts across the organization
• Travel to our manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie to learn about product development and production.
• Visit our partners at US Foods, Fortune Fish and Gourmet, and others to experience all phases of products and broaden understanding of the Deli industry.
• Travel to various Lunds & Byerlys locations to learn from and shadow different Deli teams to understand our company culture, get to know our customers, and understand department operations.
• Master the skills and knowledge required to be a Deli Professional at Lunds & Byerlys.

• Provide high-quality, personalized, and actionable learning and development experiences.

This is a full-time, 40 hour a week opportunity. During the first 30-days in this position, your schedule will be Monday-Friday at out St Louis Park Location. Following the first 30-days your schedule will be subject to our standard availability and scheduling policies consistent with the training store in which you are shadowing, which include Monday-Sunday scheduling. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance.

Your training location will be one of our locations in the Twin Cities Metro.

During your time as a program participant, you will earn $21.50/hour. Upon successful completion of training program, you will earn $23.50/hour.
