Overview
2020 Companies is hiring a full‑time Brand Representative to represent Dell inside retail stores, building relationships and brand awareness. The role focuses on engaging store associates and prospective customers, training, merchandising and supporting sales.
Schedule & LocationTues‑Sat, flexible to support work/life balance. Retail territory in Minneapolis South, MN (70 miles radius); occasional travel outside the market.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with store associates, shoppers, and store leaders.
- Show and demonstrate Dell products, provide hands‑on demonstrations and answer questions.
- Leverage relationships to aid in selling, training, and merchandising Dell products.
- Inspect and reset Dell‑branded displays and marketing materials; ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Travel within assigned territory physically visit retailers, generate brand excitement.
- Collect market intelligence, customer feedback and competitor information; report insights.
- Schedule and facilitate sales and product training sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of visits and activities.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.
- Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals.
- Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly.
- Schedule and execute store visits at least two weeks in advance.
- Demonstrate ability to influence business relationships through product placement and productivity.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of retail selling experience in consumer electronics or technical products.
- 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably in direct‑marketing/retail environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Consultative selling mindset; able to overcome objections and connect with customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills, customer service orientation, multi‑tasking, time‑management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance covering minimum liability (state‑required).
- $18 per hour plus weekly pay and next‑day on‑demand pay via Daily Pay.
- Paid virtual training and travel reimbursement.
- Annual incentive up to $4,000 paid quarterly.
- Eligible for benefits and 401(k) after a short waiting period.
