Supervisor, Retail, Retail Associate​/ Customer Service

Position Purpose

As a Supervisor, you will make a difference by delivering exceptional service to pet parents, stewarding the store’s environment, achieving positive business results, and performing operational functions.

Part‑time

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front‑end duties such as handling the cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with other projects as needed, including markdowns, re‑tickets, labeling products, and special store events.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Retail Management Team.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and pet well‑being.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Professional supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.

• Position requires working indoors and outdoors (to assist with customer carry‑out).
• Must be able to stand 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be comfortable working with animals of all sizes, including dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

$16.37–$17.63 per hour DOE/DOQ
