Job Overview

Cub Plymouth on Vicksburg Lane is looking for a dedicated individual for a part‑time grocery stock position. Grocery stockers follow stocking procedures that include load cutting and sorting, display building, and ensuring product availability. Product rotation is critical to maintain freshness and minimize waste. The role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

• Complete assignments within the allotted time.
• Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
• Use proper case cutting technique.
• Ensure correct placement of stock.
• Rotate and face product.
• Perform clean‑up of sales floor and back room.
• Assist customers with questions or requests.

• Operate equipment (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Memorize, read, write and perform basic math.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate customer service.
• Use good judgment, especially when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work shifts of varying length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Be at least 16 years of age.

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Walk on uneven ground.
• Reach, bend, turn, and perform repetitive motions.

Varied weekly shifts.

Actual pay, where applicable, will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, and collective bargaining agreements.
