Prepared Foods Team Member (Deli Service Counter & Culinary Venues) - Part Time

Whole Foods Market -  - Responsibilities:
Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza;
Sample products to customers;
Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and walk-in preparation;
Check in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary;
Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items;
Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required;
Assist with periodic inventory checks;
Arrive to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings;
Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely and effective manner; practice suggestive selling;
Maximize sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of products;
Follow procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices;
Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment per safety standards;
Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing signs are accurate;
Report safety hazards and violations immediately;
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills; deliver information clearly to customers and team members;
