Retail Store Manager

Duluth Trading Company is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will coach and schedule staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure our durable, functional apparel is showcased to brand standards. Partner with district leaders on store goals, analyze performance metrics, and implement plans to exceed targets. You'll foster a practical, down to earth culture that values hard work, humor, and authenticity while maintaining loss prevention, safety, and operational compliance in a fast paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule store associates to ensure strong performance and engagement.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
• Oversee visual merchandising and product presentation to align with brand standards.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product transfers to minimize out-of-stocks and shrink.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and daily/weekly reconciliation processes.
• Monitor store performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant store environment, including loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with district and corporate teams on promotions, new product launches, and company initiatives.
• Foster a practical, down-to-earth, and team-oriented culture aligned with Duluth Trading Company values.
