Position SummaryThe Community Account Executive contacts Retail Industry leads to maximize opportunities in retail partner programs, driving new sales and cross‑selling opportunities.
Responsibilities- Execute on retailer‑directed leads; investigate each supplier’s environment and prescribe the best solution.
- Act as a consultant to the supplier community, communicating value, timelines, and requirements tailored to each partner.
- Drive adoption via signed agreements of retail customer vendors, coordinating campaign efforts by target dates.
- Work through objections or barriers that suppliers may have and convey their message to the retailer as needed.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with account teams to maximize future upsell to suppliers.
- Adopt and apply new Community program strategy.
- Maintain internal and external customer satisfaction throughout the process, including timely and professional responses.
- Provide feedback on program quality early and often to manage retailer expectations, escalating known issues and complications.
- Complete all outreach (calls and emails) within expected timelines according to program dates and SLA.
- Document all activity, including key findings, progress, insights, and pipeline velocity in
- Bachelor’s degree or some post‑secondary education plus 2 years of experience in sales (outside, inside, retail, or telemarketing).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to translate and simplify complex business processes for varied audiences.
- Process‑focused with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrate integrity, curiosity, engagement, self‑driven initiative, collaboration, relationship building, customer engagement, leadership expectations.
- 1+ year of experience selling (outside, inside, retail, telemarketing).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and
Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in‑office at the Minneapolis office.
