Purpose & Scope: Achieve territory sales goals by promoting pharmaceutical products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography. Educate customers on the use, characteristics, advantages, indications, and developments related to promoted products. Represent our healthcare solutions in the field, ensuring high visibility and customer satisfaction, and maintain effective communication with key external and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively promote and educate physicians on our pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings and group presentations, company‑approved speaker programs, and other approved means.
- Work in the field daily for call planning, customer follow‑up, preparing presentations, making appointments, and generating reports.
- Maintain high performance levels of call and field productivity, meeting call plan expectations and achieving territory product sales goals while adhering to APUS‑defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional programs identified by Sales Management.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners, and manage all equipment and promotional materials in compliance with company guidelines.
- Execute optimum territory sales strategy using the annual and regional business plans and call activity reports.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines set by the Regional Sales Manager.
Organizational Context:
- Physician‑customer facing pharmaceutical sales role.
- Reports to a National Sales Manager.
- Manages a territory covering several pharmaceutical products.
- Assumes a lead role in primary care and specialty counterpart relationships.
- Balances territory and regional work and projects while maintaining strong sales performance.
- Exhibits strong competency in sales influence and communication.
Qualifications (required):
- Some sales experience or proven sales abilities.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, ownership mindset, and problem‑solving analytical ability.
- Strong motivational and persuasion skills.
- Team‑orientation and collaboration.
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
