OverviewAs a Sales Consultant, you will pursue new prospects, quantify our value proposition, and sell Tri Net’s comprehensive solution to companies with 5‑99 employees within your territory. You will build and manage your own book of business, execute the sales process, and present proposals to C‑level executives and other decision makers.
What you will do- Develop an annual plan to hit targets in your defined territory covering multiple states and industries focused on larger businesses with 5‑99 employees.
- Consistently build a balanced pipeline of target prospects through cold calling, email, phone, Linked In, and ecosystem partner referrals.
- Qualify opportunities quickly using a deep understanding of target market and decision‑making personas.
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship and consultatively sell Tri Net’s solutions to secure long‑term client relationships.
- Utilize a sophisticated, multi‑step selling process with defined criteria, executive sponsorship, and internal business processes.
- Manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel during a typical 3‑6 month sales cycle.
- Use Sales tools including , Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and quoting tools to efficiently manage daily activities.
- Achieve quota targets by meeting sales activity metrics.
- Complete all administrative tasks and duties promptly.
- Demonstrate Tri Net’s core values daily and perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Typically 1+ years of B2B complex sales cycle experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Capability to build your own book of business and maintain partner/referral networks.
- Skill in managing multiple priorities and sales opportunities at different stages.
- Strong presentation skills and professional ethical standards.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, evolving business environment while balancing priorities.
- Proficiency with technology and common software, including MS Office and
- Detail‑oriented work approach.
Ability and willingness to travel to prospective clients’ sites within your assigned territory.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $67,500.00 to $91,350.00, based on skills, education, location, and experience.
Commission:
Eligible for commissions per Tri Net’s commission plan.
