Position OverviewThe Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. You will be the first point of contact for many of our future customers and play a crucial role in fueling sales growth in both the MSP and DFW markets. This is a high‑impact role for someone who enjoys outbound outreach, consultative conversations, and working closely with a sales leader to book qualified appointments.
Key Responsibilities- Research, identify, and prospect businesses that fit our ideal customer profile.
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, email, Linked In, etc.) to generate interest and book meetings.
- Follow up on inbound leads quickly and qualify their service needs.
- Set qualified appointments for the sales team and ensure smooth hand‑off.
- Maintain accurate and organized activity notes in CRM.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy.
- Represent Smart Delivery Service professionally while communicating our value clearly and confidently.

- 1–3 years of experience in sales, cold calling, customer service, or phone‑based outreach (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable with high‑volume outbound calling and email outreach.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Hub Spot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Self‑starter attitude with the drive to meet goals and grow professionally.
- Logistics or B2B services experience is a plus but not required.
