Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for hydraulic technology? Join our dynamic team and play a key role in expanding our market presence for Orbital Motors and Gear products across Americas. Danfoss is currently looking for our next Sales Development Manager. Reporting to the Sales Lead for Orbital Gear and Steering Solutions (OGS) Americas, you will be a crucial part of our growth and success.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 based on experience.
What You'll Be Doing- Drive sales growth by actively pursuing new business opportunities and exceeding targets for our Orbital Motor and Gear product lines.
- Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to our customers, providing in-depth product support and collaborating on innovative solutions.
- Partner with our account sales teams to identify and secure new opportunities, increasing our market share with both distributors and OEM clients.
- Act as a vital link between our customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication on everything from quality and delivery to new product proposals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned territories, working to achieve profitability and growth targets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the fluid power industry, with a strong understanding of hydraulic circuits.
- Proven commercial experience in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in modern IT tools.
- The ability to thrive in a global, matrixed organization and collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to support customers and partners.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working with both distribution channels and direct OEM accounts.
- Previous sales experience with motor or gear products.
