Responsibilities
  • Selling
    • Develop and leverage relationships with key influence decision makers in assigned stores and markets.
    • Deliver consistent market‑level contact and administration as per client and customer standards.
    • Effectively gain front‑end and main‑aisle presence of client brands.
  • Achieving Results
    • Implement strategies to meet or exceed goals for assigned stores and markets.
    • Grow POS for client brands by selling incremental display locations, executing plan‑ogram locations, initiatives, and maintaining stock conditions.
    • Analyze and develop quarterly business plans identifying opportunities to grow sales within the territory.
  • Organizing and Planning
    • Follow team sales call standards and strategically implement a call coverage plan that meets the business needs of client and the retail customer.
    • Administration/Reporting:
      Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, expense reports, etc.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, consumer packaged goods.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED (required); bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience:

    3 to 5 years in sales.
Travel and Driving

Travel and driving are essential duties and functions of this job.

Physical Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in‑store environment, and typically requires the ability to travel, drive, and engage in considerable physical activity, lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections).

The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
