OverviewWhat You Can Expect: The Market Manager for Off-Premise in Minnesota leads and drives off-premise market initiatives, partnerships, and execution to support Brown-Forman brands.
Responsibilities- Assumes leadership role in understanding, developing and implementing key customer initiatives for Minnesota off-premise business (Local Chains, National Chains, Independents, Convenience Stores)
- Creates customer focused win-win initiatives that enhance Brown-Forman and customer profitability.
- Establish positive customer rapport at all levels in all assigned accounts.
- Conducts business performance reviews with respective distributor Director in accordance with achieving state plans.
- Partners with Brown-Forman National/Regional distributor account team to ensure distributor execution of Independent and Chain programs.
- Partners with Brown-Forman team to communicate programs and execution plan to the distributor and customers.
- Work to encompass the development of off-premise brand building plans that are successfully executed in collaboration with the distributor in assigned territories.
- Brand responsibility includes the entire Brown-Forman portfolio.
- Champions the off-premise effort to win at the point of purchase. Collaborates with region teams to ensure superior distributor execution of brand initiatives.
- Connects with multiple external contacts including the distributor, retailers, consumers and promotion agencies.
- Budget responsibilities.
- Leads off premise team(s) to coordinate appropriate dialog on local market feedback for specific brand plans – agree on objectives and priorities.
- Coordinates communication of adjustments to plan based on performance and success in the market.
- Develops and/or ensures proper activation of all programs for the off-premise.
- Leads development and oversight of execution for Off-Premise pull programming and all branded initiatives.
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of Brown-Forman business plan with off premise team, and holds them accountable for results.
- Manages third-party promotion agencies for on-premise. Ensures agency team is aligned against Brown-Forman business and brand plans.
- Serves as the key point of contact with key off premise account groups, covering the entire Brown-Forman portfolio of brands.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record of meeting key metrics and a strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers.
- Coaching: Strong coaching and sales training skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with leaders across various channels, functions, and geographies. - Enterprise Mindset: Able to prioritize the overall Brown-Forman business needs above specific territory or team needs.
- Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required, with a valid state driver’s license and the capability to lift 60 pounds.
- Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software.
The base pay salary will be $90,000 - $95,000 paid semi-monthly plus a 25% bonus. The 25% bonus will be paid annually contingent on performance of the company and individual.
NOTE:
Base salary range depends on a combination of job-related factors to include candidate skills, experience and internal equity.
