Launch Your Career in Industrial Sales! Grow Our Own (GO2) - Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee Development Program

GO2 is a 12‑month development program designed for recent graduates and early‑career individuals who are interested in starting a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands‑on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full‑time outside sales/account manager role within an assigned territory with Sun Source.

What You’ll Do
  • Participate in structured training at our headquarters where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training.
  • Learn full‑cycle outside sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers to solve real‑world problems through technical and product solutions.
  • Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls and visit customers on‑site.
What You’ll Need
  • Associate degree or technical training and 2 years of experience in a related field OR bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Internship or co‑op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment, or individuals with mechanical interest/aptitude preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable to build relationships with peers and potential customers and a commitment to delivering top results in a performance‑based environment.
  • Ability to relocate to Addison, IL for 12 months of training at our corporate headquarters.
