Area Sales Manager – Twin Cities
OLIPOP is searching for an Area Sales Manager to join our team and represent us in the Twin Cities. Focused on high‑impact field work, this role involves building relationships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers in the region.
Responsibilities- Deliver on monthly volume and distribution goals and achieve overall objectives in the market.
- Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers.
- Conduct weekly route rides with DSD partners and food brokers to identify opportunities for underperforming accounts.
- Monitor inventory and proper use of POS material, following through on all commitments to distributor management, sales personnel, and the trade.
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in distributor management meetings by providing well‑documented reports on distribution, display, and sales.
- Implement and execute incentive programs to guide distributor organizations in achieving sales objectives.
- Manage chain retailers for new item launches and retail programs.
- Actively identify and open new accounts, building relationships to secure secondary points of purchase, shelf expansion, and cooler placement.
- Collaborate with field‑marketing teams to create comprehensive marketing plans that profitably increase market share.
- Deep passion for Olipop and the mission, with a desire to make an impact.
- Obsessed with understanding customer behavior and continuously improving outreach.
- Comfortable working in a high‑growth, early‑stage company; able to think rapidly in a changing environment.
- Initiative and autonomy – able to run projects from start to finish.
- Strong at working with ambiguity and asking the right questions to find solutions.
- Excellent planning, organization, project management, and interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Zoom preferred.
- Located in the Twin Cities metro area with a clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
An MBA or a college degree. Our founders don’t have them and we don’t expect you to either.
Reports ToRegional Sales Manager, Midwest
Compensation$72,000 – $80,000 base salary + bonus.
