Position Overview
The Regional Sales Associate is responsible for providing regional support to the assigned Regional Sales Manager. This support includes assisting Territory Managers in closing opportunities, ensuring shipments are complete, and addressing customer inquiries. The individual will be a highly motivated, self‑starter who understands the needs of the Regional team and becomes an advocate for growth in the region. They may also provide training and knowledge transfer support, and cover for Territories when Territory Managers are on vacation.
Note:
This position is open to candidates who currently reside in Chicago, IL or surrounding areas within the region.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide Regional support for the assigned Regional Sales Manager.
- Support Market‑level needs and act as a liaison to Territory Managers.
- Assist in closing opportunities and manage customer contact.
- Understand Install Base for warranty, up‑trade, and expansion.
- Improve CRM data quality and quantity for the Install Base.
- Identify key buying influencers to determine budget and timeline for better follow‑up by the Sales Team.
- Build and cultivate relationships through communications and follow‑up to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Work with management to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet revenue goals.
- Manage data for new and existing clients in , ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.
- Prepare and analyze reports and dashboards.
Knowledge and
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or significant related experience.
- 1–3 years of sales experience.
- CRM experience preferred ( recommended).
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed lead/sales and activity quotas.
- Proven track record of strong client relationships.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Goal‑oriented.
- Team player who earns the confidence and trust of Direct Purchase and Field Sales teams.
- Compelling telephone communication skills.
- Strong customer relationship management (CRM) abilities.
- Strong affinity for technology.
Salary and Benefits:
- $50,000/yr + variable bonus opportunity.
