Project Sales - Switchgear

Schedule:

Standard daytime hours, Monday‑Friday

Base salary: $63,000 – $85,000

Variable compensation:
Approximate annualized commissions $40,000

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare on‑time, competitive, and accurate quotes for customers, while maintaining relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Support bid proposal strategy, value‑added service offering, and quotation follow‑up.
  • Assemble lighting and/or power distribution systems for both plan and spec and design‑build projects.
  • Compile and analyze information from vendors, determining appropriate pricing, and using discretion to maximize profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct critical conversations and negotiations effectively.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum education:

    High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proven experience in negotiation skills with strong math aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and conduct critical conversations with vendors, customers and associates (virtually/in‑person).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
